American Red Cross Blood Drive

The American Red Cross will be holding a special Christmas blood drive on Monday, December 22nd, from 1-7pm at Archbishop Keough Council #5264, address: 1381 Becknel Ave, Odenton, Maryland. Christmas refreshments will be served. To make an appointment, call the American Red Cross at (410)-764-7000, or email Steve Andrzejewski (spandrz@verizon.net) or call him at (410)- 987-5852. Walk-ins are welcome.

We all expect blood to be there for us, but barely a fraction of those who can give do. Yet sooner or later, virtually all of us will face a time of great vulnerability in which we will need blood. And that time is all too often unexpected. If you are eligible to give blood and in Odenton or the neighboring areas, please consider making a blood donation.

Urgent! - Help needed next weekend!!

We are in need of 6 more volunteers to help with Casino Night next weekend.   I understand that things have been slow during this new year.  On top of things, we missed the opportunity to make an announcement due to the last meeting being canceled because of the snow and ice.  Please consider the importance of this annual fundraiser as the economy is taking a toll on all of us, including the people who are helped by the charities that the Keough Council makes donations to.  If you haven't planned anything for next weekend, please give Les Hiett a call (home: 410-674-3008) before 2/19 to see where you can help.  Thank You!
